Last day in Cusco!!

Today is the last day we have in Cusco. Gutted, its such a nice place. At least we get to come back here for a night when we come back from Machu Piccu. Yesterday we went white water rafting, which was amazing. The rapìds were a level above anything I or anyone else had done before, that includes he ones in the Alps! Our guide, Carlos, was the river master, and we had to wait for everyone to go through the hard rapids before we could go on, but we were the only team strong enough to surf the rapids (thats paddling upstream into the rapids, then when you get to a rapid, everyone dives to the front and holds it there, getting soaked in the prosess...) which was so cool!! The lunch was immense, huge portions of everything, and Carlos is now mi amigo!! Got everything packed for the trek, unfortunately (mum and dad, this is aimed at you...) I havent really had the opportunity to send any postcards, mainly because stamps are hard to come by, and post boxes even more so. Plus, I would beat it back now anyway... Plus, can you update the rest of the family :) Tomomorrow we start our now 7 day trek which shouldnt be oo hard, I seem to have acclimatised far faster than other members of the group, and then its straight to the Inca ruins, then Cusco for the flight back to Lima then home!! Its gone so fast!! New post in a week!! Cya
